The rooms are spotlessly clean and airy with windows to the yard and the staff are accommodating. Great to have central heating, a work desk, and a flat-screen TV with cable channels.

Friendly and straightforward hotel, pleasant staff, truly enjoyed the magnificent location very close to the waterfront, the Marina and shopping center and the old center. The room we had was airy and spotless with a balcony, a nice terrace, as example. The food was TASTY, had a good choice of options. This place was just what we needed, can't recommend highly enough.

Residencial Sete Cidades is a very good value compared to other hotels in Ponta Delgada that I have experienced. It is by no means luxurious but it is simply efficient, clean and superbly run. The cheerful and attentive staff is the hotel's best asset.

I chose the hotel for the price and you should expect exactly what you pay: a clean but old and not too comfy room and some basic breakfast.
although the building and interiour are really old and need renovation it was at and staff was friendly. expect what corresponds to the price.

This hotel is a good choice for a budget lodging. The location of the hotel is optimal, being close to everything in Ponta Delgada, and the hotel staff is very helpful.
Perhaps, the hotel needs some renovation, but one can not demand this for the hotel's rates that are very reasonable.

Nice place to stay. although it looks a bit as a hsopital: lomg corridurs, staff in white uniforms. Has a 70/80's touch, which we liked!

The staff was very very nice, they helped us in various situations; they clean the room every day; price was good; the hotel is not so far from the city center; there's a nice bakery next to the hotel, opened also during night.
The hotel infrastructure is outdated, but it's not so bad. Don't expect luxury hotel, but considering the price and the good aspects I was really satisfied in having the base for my honeymoon there.

I would prefer if the tile in bathrooms were a light color instead of black. Black is pretty but not in a bathroom because you need all the light you can get in a bathroom to do your hair and makeup.
